All migratory birds are always looking for beautiful stops during their journeys
- Places where they can enjoy delicious meals, as well as appreciate the beautiful landscapes and good company. The stop that brought these three species of birds together is Vardø, in the Varanger Peninsula in Norway. Let's meet Nicolas, Tormod and Baptiste. On our way to Varanger, we also met Bernhard, another migratory bird that will join 3 birds in the next few months.
Nicolas BLANCHARD, like the "Ptarmigan," is a discreet yet unshy bird, living in a family and adapted to survive in harsh weather conditions. This bird is also highly symbolic of his family company’s name, "White Mountain." Of mixed French and German descent, he is a lawyer and banker, founder of White Mountain GmbH, and a private investor. At 55 years old, he is a nature and travel enthusiast. He is based in Germany.
Tormod AMUNDSEN, like the "GyrFalcon," seeks both efficiency and aesthetics. What could be more symbolic than the largest falcon in Europe, which is found only in Norway, particularly in the Varanger Peninsula? He holds a Master of Architecture (M.Arch) degree since 2008 and is the CEO and founder of Biotope (since 2012). With 25 years of passionate outdoor living, birdwatching, nature photography, and a profound love for nature, Tormod embodies these values in his life.
Baptiste BATAILLE, like the "Dunlin," migrates around the world for his work, highly social and skilled at bringing people together. He is a biologist, entrepreneur, and co-founder of Färm.coop. He is also the CEO and founder of Skylark SCRL, a travel company specializing in nature and wildlife photography as well as environmental consultancy. At 47 years old, he is always looking for new Nature related projects. He is based in Belgium and is the CEO of 3Birds AS.
